First and foremost, we are responsible, reputable and ethical breeders and we strive to maintain the Maine Coon standard. Our goal here at MegaPawz is to raise BEAUTIFUL, healthy, well-socialized kittens with wonderful personalities.

We health/DNA test all of our breeding cats for over 40 genetic disorders using Optimal Selection analysis as well as providing regular veterinary care in order to insure the health of our kittens.

We are members of and register our kittens with CFA (The Cat Fancier’s Association) and TICA (The International Cat Association).

We do occasionally show our cats/kittens in CFA or TICA shows as time allows us. We love to network with other breeders and learn new things by keeping up with things happening in the “cat world”.

Our kittens are raised in our home, under foot, are handled on a regular daily basis and are spoiled immensely. For the health and safety of our breeding cats, our breeding males and females don’t live with one another. They each have their space. When the time arrives for one of our Queens to deliver, she has her own private space, away from the hustle and bustle, to nest and prepare for labor and delivery.

At MegaPawz, we love all colors and patterns of Maine Coons but we primarily deal with the Classic pattern when we have tabby kittens and produce a rainbow of colors including brown/black, black silver, blue silver, red, red silver, cream, cream silver, brown/black torbie, black silver torbie, blue torbie, and blue silver torbie.

We do, however, also regularly produce solid colors (black, blue, red, and cream) and smokes (black, blue, red, cream). All of these colors can be produced with and without white.

Occasionally, we do have retired adult cats for adoption.
